Gigs

Built in the early eighteenth century and turned into an ale house only a few years later, we are situated on the top of a hill in an area of outstanding natural beauty amidst some of the best countryside and with one of the finest views from any pub in the south of England.

We are open for lunch and dinner every day (no food Sunday evenings), with all dishes freshly prepared. To accompany either a light lunch or more indulgent evening meal we offer Cask Marque accredited real ales including local breweries such as Hop Back (Salisbury), Three Castles (Pewsey), Anwell Brewery (Basingstoke) and a varied wine list including locally produced wine from Danebury Vineyard.

We are family and pet friendly with plenty of space in the gardens, including a childrens playground aswell as offering a childs menu and smaller roast portions during Sunday Lunch.

Accommodation is available in our four en-suite letting rooms either for a mid-week business trip, a quiet weekend break or a family get away with full english breakfast included.
